Professional Registration -
Australia
All Registered Nurses in Australia must have registration
to practise in their profession. Australia now has a
single national nursing registration board called the
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
AHPRA also have a mutual recognition of
registration with New Zealand. Registered Nurses must hold
registration with AHPRA to work in Australia and also for
international nurses you must have undertaken an assessment
from AHPRA and hold an eligibility letter in order to be
eligible for a sponsored visa.
